There was a childcare survey completed during the unrolling of the prototype centres in BC. In the survey it was discovered that less than 10% of centres had an inclusion policy, however 90% had a withdrawal policy. The province is moving towards the promotion of universal, quality, inclusive childcare in BC, and we want to help you do this.

These Professional Development Sessions are for childcare staff working in Vancouver or Burnaby. They are meant to work with you to understand and unpack the Inclusive Child Care Toolkit, create, review and/or update your own Inclusion Policy, and learn more about up-to-date ideas around Inclusive Practice to support all children to participate fully within childcare, regardless of their abilities.
