Why is recruiting and retaining for a job vacancy so difficult these days?

• Receiving resumés that do not meet the qualifications of the job posting
• Hiring someone only for them to leave after a short period of time because they found another job
• Having to offer a higher wage just to keep an employee from leaving
• People keep leaving, being replaced, onboarded and trained, only for them to leave again…it’s costing us money and our customers are not happy
• Some employees are telling me they are burning out, and it’s not good for company morale
• There are not enough qualified workers out there
