Have you heard of the financial benefits employers gain when employing people with disabilities? “A study by Accenture (in partnership with the American Association of People with Disabilities and Disability) reported that employers who actively sought to employ people with disabilities outperformed other businesses, and that these companies and enterprises had revenues 28 percent higher, with double the net income, and profit margins that climbed as much as 30 percent. Further, the organizations that honed in on disability engagement tripled their sales when compared to other companies, and grew profits at a rate that was more than four times faster, as was stated in a follow-up study in 2020.
